The Botanical Garden features numerous plant collections that serve purposes such as education and the protection of endangered species. There is an alpine garden where plants typically found in the mountains are gathered. In the summer months, one can admire blooming roses, daylilies, and peonies. The garden has natural ponds populated with interesting marsh and reed plants. Along the paths, there are interesting and rare varieties of trees and shrubs.
