The Cathedral of St. John in Toruń, also known as the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist, is a Gothic temple from the 14th century, which is one of the most important monuments of the city. Inside, there are many valuable works of sacred art. The cathedral is where Nicolaus Copernicus was baptized, which further emphasizes its historical significance. The "Tuba Dei" bell, one of the largest medieval bells in Poland, is located in the church tower, which has an observation terrace.
